This consists of training and resources for current and prospective Aeronautical Meteorological Observers, including Training courses and resources, Best practice approaches, and Seminars and workshops. 

The resources are constantly maintained, and are grouped into topics as seen below.

  • Observing Training: This topic area equips AMOs with essential resources for observing specific meteorological phenomena.
  • Compliance training: This topic includes information on product coding, relevant standards, and recommended practices to ensure regulatory alignment and operational consistency.
  • Qualification and Competency: This training topic outlines the training journey of an AMO, including the processes for achieving and maintaining operational competency.
