The primary goal of this workshop is to improve SIGMET availability and accuracy by reviewing current practices, learning new techniques, as well as strengthening the collaboration and coordination between National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs). In addition to SIGMETs, TAF consistency, aviation hazards, and topics in QMS and Competencies relevant to the operational forecaster will be reviewed.
